Jewish Community Centers were a big part of my life growing up. I went to various JCC day camps and overnight camps. And then I worked as a counselor at various JCC day camps and overnight camps. It breaks my heart to report that the spirit of tolerance and inclusion that used to characterize JCCs is no longer present in San Francisco.
It'd be interesting to find out how many people raise objections to this policy or cancel their planned enrollment. Possibly just about all the people who want a stable existence have left the city.
Probably nobody will object. In fact, the parents probably insisted.
I have been contacting the performing arts places in SF who insist that the audience be masked and vaxed. They usually cite SFDPH but neither they nor the state of CA require this stuff anymore. SF is full of total idiots who think the mask and vax will keep them alive forever.
I would bet the number of parents who'd object to NOT having the policy would outnumber the ones who have objected to the policy. And those would definitely not send their kid to a camp with "unclean" kids.
Actually the mask off, breathe on each other joy has been part of San Francisco recreational life for a while this year - by law and in practice. It appears JCCSF has chosen to be more strict than required at this juncture.
Will be interesting to see how many 5 and under kids are enrolled for the privilege of wearing a mask outdoors & in. Beyond child abuse, and any parents who enroll their young kids are abusers of the worst kind. Insane. I have a millennial who at 31 rushed to get her booster before the ink dried. And she purportedly wants children. I dare not tell her the statistics and effect on ovaries, likely DNA altered until the xx generation.
These last 2 1/2 years have exposed a hatred of children from the left that I can’t comprehend. And I’m (was) a hyper liberal!

Mask nazi and vax nazi have become common terms among the sane part of the population over the last two years. And they are fitting.
There's something disturbing about jews voluntarily falling under the use of a nazi label, even if used as casual slang. No self awareness!
